What Makes Our Approach Unique

Wonder Land was born out of a desire to offer therapeutic support that was deeper and more effective than what was being offered in traditional OT settings...

Within western healthcare and educational models, OT is often rushed, focused on “treating a problem”, with prescriptive exercises or activities, done in overstimulating indoor environments. We saw first hand that many people and families who first try OT in this way do not feel seen or supported. And therefore, they don’t see and feel the changes they were hoping for. 

 

Wonder Land takes a very different approach, rooted in the relational, the nervous system, and looking at bigger picture systems, which creates deeper lasting change that extends years beyond our work with clients.
